Your Story

I found this quote on another blog during the "Dear Me" link up. I really enjoyed it and the simple truth that it states. It's something I have heard my Pastor say in different words over and over again. I think it's worth sharing.

My story is important not because it is mine, God knows, but because if I tell it anything like right, the chances are you will recognize that in many ways it is also yours. Maybe nothing is more important than that we keep track, you and I, of these stories of who we are…because it is precisely through these stories…that God makes himself known to each of us most powerfully and personally.” --Frederick Buechner

You have to tell your story so that one day your story intersects with someone else's and God can work in that moment to help to begin someone's journey with Jesus.
