This has left me feeling, as Pamela says, stabby. I just don't understand why the services I pay for don't work correctly. It's not like they are cheap either. I mean, they have raised the prices over there at least 3 times since we ordered our products. AND THEY DON'T WORK.
So the guy comes in to "fix" my problem. HA! I wanted to say, "The last 12 couldn't do it and you certainly don't look more intelligent than they did! " Instead I bit my tongue in the interest of trying to remain Christ like. I suppose though that Christ wouldn't have thought that so I already lost I might as well have said it, but I digress. He mills around here for an hour and then tells me that I have bad equipment. Which of course, me being me, I think after three kids I think, "My equipment is just fine thank you." I bite my tongue again and *patiently* tell him that I have had 4 modems, 3 boxes, and 6 (yes 6) different phones. It. Is. Not. The. Equipment. Insert snarky growl.
This leaves our cable guy very frustrated. How could a woman, a housewife no less, know better than me what is wrong with her services! *gasp* I do my best not to flip. I imply maybe he should keep looking. So with a huff he storms outside and climbs a ladder to the pole. About 20 minutes later he returns with a sort of sheepish look on his face. "Uh, um, well there appears to be an issue with the line. I will send a guy out this afternoon the fix it." Yeah, that's right, you sure will, I thought. I bit my tongue. "That would be great. Thank you." I say instead.
Then he finally walks out the door and I fume into a couch pillow. Eat some chocolate. And begin researching dish companies. Blerg.
Totally laughing at this.
