So Bailey woke up Saturday with a fever and sore throat.
I treated her for the day and when she woke up on Sunday still sick I decided to call the Doctor. I expected to hear that I needed to take her to the ER or the Urgent care, instead what I heard was the voice of one of God's blessings. He said, "I will meet you over at the Batavia office. I want to check her out, but I don't want her to have to go through the ER process feeling as miserable as she does." Can you believe that?! He opened up the office just for my Bailey girl. Smart guy, because now I will never leave the practice.
So anyway we have been forced to stay in. Which has led to us looking around and getting motivated to clean our house. One room after another our home is starting to look like ours again. It had been so long since we have had a family cleaning day that it was piling up. Which some of you will recognize is huge progress for me. The toys were EVERYWHERE, which means I have been letting them play instead of picking up behind them. That's a win.
Also because we are in we have had the opportunity to make a sizable dent in our endeavor to watch all of Mad Men. Awesome.
We had some fantastic grilled supper last night complete with some triple berry salad. King's Hawaiian sweet rolls now make hamburger and hot dog buns. Divine, no? If you haven't tried them run out and get some. Worth the trip to the store!
Alright, I have to go get the laundry started. I hope your Monday is fantastic and full of God's blessings that take you by surprise.
