Disarming the Enemy

My StepDad  told me something today that makes a bunch of sense to me and has caused my brain to refocus. I thought maybe I should share with you and maybe it could help your brain refocus too!

This is an acrostic for the word fear. Ready to have your mind blown? ;)

                                               Evidence

                                               Appearing

                                               Real

Fear is something the enemy throws at you to distract you from your real purpose in life. He blinds your eyes to see the truth with fear. He puts "evidence" in front of your eyes and makes it seem so real that it is hard to see the difference. That guy sucks.

The good news is God is bigger, stronger, smarter, and always by your side. So when the fear is in you ask God to show you what the REAL truth is. Ask Him to allow you to see the "evidence" for what it really is, a sack of lies.
