My Son is learning to undress himself. All the way down to the skin, including diaper. This is fun, as you can imagine. He undresses and then sits naked in his crib and screams at the top of his lungs until I come in and dress him again. And repeat.
He also is getting taller increasing his reach. This includes all of my kitchen drawers. Do you know that permanent marker comes off of laminate flooring with a baby wipe? Cause I do.
Did you know that a child no older than the Oprah Network can function a door knob and play in the toilet?
I think he is going to be a fisherman, or is, in fact, a bear. Because with one swoop of his
When learning a new word it is prudent to repeat it LOUDLY at least 40 times in a row to be sure you really "get it". Like this DOGGY DOGGY DOGGY DOGGY DOGGY DOGGY DOGGY DOGGY.. and so on.
When Mommy has just put her bum into a chair it is necessary to be thirsty, hungry, or otherwise needy.
And just as she falls asleep you must all of a sudden fear your teddy bear and shriek until she comes running afraid that Freddy Krueger has you by the head. Then refuse to calm down until 3 am and wake up again at 5 ready for breakfast.
I love my Son. I know these days will all to soon be funny memories. Today, however, the hours seem to be slow. VERY slow. And my patience thin, super duper thin. So to all of you out there with these or similar issues today I am praying for you! We will get through this together, you, me, and Jack (Daniels).
