Thanksgiving

With Thanksgiving upon us I would like to take this time to share what I am thankful for.

~ A God who loves me unconditionally and who sent His Son to die for me.

~ A husband who loves me unconditionally, even when I am unlovable. He works hard everyday so that our children can have me here with them 24/7. He calms my fears and keeps me in check. He's the best!

~ 3 healthy children. At the beginning of this month I got a taste of the worry of a parent with a seriously ill child. I will NEVER take for granted the health of my children again!

~ The opportunity to bring all of my cares, concerns, and fears before my God in prayer.

~ A warm, clean, safe house to live in. Complete with running water and indoor plumbing. Trust me folks, if you have a bathtub to give your baby a bath in say a prayer of thanks because you are richer than most.

~ A family that I love and that loves me. I was raised with so much family that my heart overflows, I know how lucky I am to have that.

~ A REALLY fat turkey to eat tomorrow. I LOVE TURKEY. I am not going to eat it daintily either. I vow to tear into that mama with all of my might.

~ Santa at the end of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I cry. Every year. Since I was 4. I am well aware of the fact that I am a HUMONGOUS nerd.

~ Robert Downey Jr. Enough said.

~ The joy of my children. Nothing beats their smiley faces and their belly laughs. I truly am so thankful for my heritage from God.

~ A group of friends that never let me down. Such a support system is rare and I am grateful, everyday.
