Brunner News

Things have been busy. To say the least. Some great things, some not so great. So here's what's up.

My insurance has changed and has decided they have to "approve" my meds before I can have them. So for right now I am without one of the meds that gets me through the day. That is a touch stressful! I have been pretty good so far, but I definitely notice the difference!

Our brakes went out on the van as J drove to work yesterday. So there's that. Praise God is ok. Now to find the cash to fix it up so he can get to work to make the cash. Do you see the viscous cycle here?

A lovely friend came in the nick of time with a gift of love that she didn't know I desperately needed. God is reminding me on a minute by minute basis that He has got me in His mighty hands.

I have had the pleasure and privilege to pray for some lovely friends and families and see the wonderful acts of God right here on earth. That is an experience like no other. If you are feeling low may I suggest praying for someone and then watch how God works in their lives, it is truly a miraculous experience no matter what the situation.

My car stereo has been broken for 6 months now. I was getting super duper bummed that I couldn't listen to the Christmas music while carting my kids around. So one day last week when I was in one of the lowest of lows I have had in awhile I decided to turn it on and just listen to it through the static and the fuzz. Out of nowhere the darn thing starts coming in clear as a bell. Isn't it humbling when you know that the Creator of the universe for one split second was thinking of you? Little grain of sand you? I felt treasured and loved. He knew that that one small thing would touch my heart and that I would know it came straight from His hand. AMAZING! A stereo! :)

2 great parent teacher conferences for the girlies. Most definitely a good thing. Happy happy!

So this is the life as of late. Keeping the boy out of trouble, which is proving to be harder and harder as he grows. Wiping noses and bottoms. Piles of dishes and laundry. And then there is the everyday reminder that He loves me. He nurtures the nurturer, He cares for the caretaker. It is truly like a breath of fresh air.

So what's up with you? Leave me a message if you wouldn't mind. I would love to hear how things are going in your neck of the woods!
