~ Seeing my Sister and beautiful niece that are up from Florida.
~ Spending a whole bunch of time with family this week. Nothing like seeing where you came from to remember how much you are loved.
~ Hearing my kids playing together, without trying to kill each other. :)
~ Beginning to bake Christmas cookies for the freezer.
~ Judy Garland singing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"
~ The smell of gingerbread.
~ A headache that went away, and the moment you realize it is gone.
~ A living room with NO TOYS. (I know, right?)
~ A full schedule and God's peace to enjoy it instead of worrying about it.
~ A glass of wine while rolling sugar cookies at 9 p.m., Side note - if some of my reindeer look like dogs, forgive me please. :)
~ Sending my kids out in the morning with a hot breakfast in their tummies every morning this month. Personal goal met!
~ Friends.
~ The fact that Christmas is only 33 days away! WHOOO HOOOO!

ReplyDeleteI'm not aware of any rules that say Christmas cookies must (or must not) have certain shapes. Mine routinely include dinosaurs, cars, and farm animals.
ReplyDeleteMelissa that's because you are so advanced! :) I stick to stars and bells because they are easy to frost! LOL I think though with a couple more glasses of wine I might get gutsy!
