One day I decided to volunteer to help cook an Easter breakfast.
On that day I got to cut hams with a beautiful young woman whom I had never had the privilege to meet before.
That was 2 years ago. Since then we have been getting to know each other a little better through the beauty of the book face. And the lovely world of blogging.
Today I got to sit down with her and speak one on one with her. I can tell you without reservation, she is every bit as beautiful, inside and out, as I thought she was that first day we cut hams together.
God uses every situation to build things. On this particular occasion He used ham and four hands willing to volunteer to begin a friendship. For this I am thankful.
Let your heart, your mind, and your hands always be willing to do His work, because as you do He is usually doing His work in you.
You know what's really funny? I actually hate ham... :)
ReplyDeleteHA! That is funny. I love ham. I would like some ham now... Super glad you decided to cut them anyway!
