If you are a parent you will relate to what I am about to say. If not, read and remember this as you plan whether or not you will become a parent.
Jack has been laying in his bed crying for over an hour. I know that doesn't sound like much, but it FEELS like it. The boy never cries at bedtime. He goes in and goes to sleep. SO naturally I thought there must be something wrong and I went in and committed the cardinal sin. That's right I picked him up and rocked him. As long as I was in the room he didn't cry. As soon as I laid him down he started right up again. *frustration*
Bailey went to the Doc today and has croup and an ear infection. So that was a good time. Poor little honey. As I am sitting there the Doctor tells me about all of the gastrointestinal viruses going around in our neck of the woods. *awesome*
Cue the afternoon of extraordinary panic and worry. Still I held my ground got off of my "safe spot" and made dinner for my family and actually managed to eat some myself. So I will call that a small win. *whoo hoo*
I managed to get all three of my kids bathed and tucked in. Their rooms cleaned. This is a larger win. *YEAH BUDDY*
Now as I am finishing up writing this I notice I don't hear Jack anymore. I had better go check for breath. *HAPPY DANCE*
A small Dr. Suess quote to end the night, "Today was fun, today is done, tomorrow is another one." Here's to a good nights' sleep to all!
I think our dr tells me that every time we go in!! Another reason I hate having to go. Hope you're little one feels better soon!
