Truth?

Here is an excerpt from "Grace for the Good Girl" by Emily Freeman:

"My fear becomes my truth, and if you try to convince me
otherwise, I am convinced you just don’t know. You are naïve
and I am a realist. You are too simple and I am complicated.
You are wrong and I am right."

This is my truth. This is how it works in my crazy head. How grossly out of focus is that? I am willing to bet that if you have a real fear in your life that you may be living in this wrong truth too. Maybe by identifying it I can ask God to change it. Perhaps by recognizing the distortion I can work to pull it back into focus.

If you haven't had the chance to read this gem pick it up! It is awesome!

  1. I think one of the most used phrases in the Bible is "Do not be afraid and "Fear not"..I have a lot to learn. Pastor Gloria spoke during MOPS one Christmas about Mary the mother of Jesus. I can identify with her. I wonder sometimes how fearful she must have been and how she took care of that fear.
