Silent Night

A good friend of mine posted something about "Silent Night" yesterday and it got me thinking about my Bailey girl. When she was a little little one she had colic and the only thing that would soothe her into sleep was singing all three verses of Silent Night. Over and over. Until I couldn't talk anymore. That is the sweetest memory for me. What a special time between my Daughter and I. So I thought that in honor of my sweet little baby and Mary's sweet little baby I would post the lyrics.
Silent Night
Silent night, holy night,
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin mother and Child.
Holy Infant, so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace.

Silent night, holy night,
Shepherds quake at the sight;
Glories stream from heaven afar,
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia!
Christ the Savior is born,
Christ the Savior is born!

Silent night, holy night,
Son of God, love’s pure light;
Radiant beams from Thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth,
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth.

  1. I love that what was probably a very difficult and trying time in your life turned out to be a sweet, sweet memory. God is so good and this is another reminder that God uses all things for the good of those who love Him! Thanks for sharing!!
