Here's What's up

I was so amazed at the outpouring of well wishes and love from our wedding story yesterday! That was such an unexpected surprise. It wasn't the most romantic of Anniversaries we were only awake and together at the same time for three hours due to a work schedule. However we had a very nice date on Monday evening. We went to dinner and out to ice cream, alone. It was awesome!

Tonight I get the privilege of hanging out with a couple of great friends that I have had the pleasure of knowing since I was 12. I get to have dinner with adult people. And someone else is going to make it! I get to sit and eat it while it's hot! SCORE! It's always nice to talk to people you haven't seen in  awhile and catch up on what's happening in their lives.

I have been reading a book that is seriously challenging the way I have been dealing with my spiritual life. It is pushing me at making time to sit at the Father's feet everyday and making that a priority. I have been feeling disconnected and far from His face lately. I was thinking of every excuse in the book as to why that was, not once did I ask myself whether *I* was blocking the door myself. Turns out that through the words of this talented author Jesus was telling me that He has been waiting for me to show up and talk with Him. So if you are like me and you are feeling like your soul is a bit dry and you could use a refreshing drink I encourage you to go to Him in prayer and in His word. He is waiting for you there.

The new medicine has been doing a great job. For the most part I have been having an easier time and less and less panic. The last few days have been not so great. Could be because of the schedule change or the heat or the "cycle" either way, This too shall pass. Just praying it is not another 22 day jag.

Oh well I guess that's it for now. What's going on with you?
