So my children randomly attack my Husband. They do this thing where he lays on the floor and for hours they climb on him, bounce on him, and treat him to a whole buffet plate full of miscellaneous torture. I ask you why does he do this???!!!! He willing lays down there KNOWING what is going to happen. This boggles my mind as I am the kind of person who will do ANYTHING to avoid feeling pain.
Perhaps he does it because it is like a spa treatment for the back. Maybe he just likes the fact that it tires them out before bed. It is possible he uses it to diffuse sibling violence by giving them a common "enemy". In all likely hood though I think it has to do with the scores of high pitched giggles that come from the floor. There is no other time that I can think of when that look of pure maniacal joy comes from their faces. They will go off together in a corner and plot and then come at him with this awful scheme only to fall apart in fits of laughter.
Now of course we always have to make at least one time out for a kiss when things get too rough, but I will tell you it is worth it. Any bumps they get are smoothed over by the rip snorting good time they are all having together.
In conclusion I would just like to say I love you to my Hubby,,,,,,Daddy the great! :)
